Power Over Women

So now you've got lots of sex-and-children-wanting, fear-of-being-single,blinded-by-cucumbers-in-their-eyes women. They've practically wrapped up all the powerthey once had into a neat little package and put it on our plate, right between the stripsteak and the mashed potatoes. Men don't have to do very much to get theadvantage back. Over time we become more comfortable and confident with our place in life, but the pendulum is swinging in our favor regardless.Exhibit AHere's an example to illustrate this point. As women age, they developundesirable wrinkles; as we men age, some of us lose our hair. Both maladies have agreat many products to combat them (though anti-aging is several times larger than hair loss). Good so far,but here's the difference: Women rationalize men's shortcomings. That's why women say bald is sexy. They haveto believe it because they've lost power in the relationship. You won't ever hear men say,"Wrinkles are sexy," because they don't have to. Here, let me try it. I love wrinkles;they're sexy. No, I take that back.Another ExhibitA lot of women say they like guys with a little gut or guys who aren't in better shapethan they are. Why? Because they don't want to feel like they're fat or because they don'twant a guy who is vain. Not so fast -- hands where I can see 'em. That soundslike more rationalizing to me.  What It MeansPicking up women is supposed to be tricky in our 20s. Embrace that, use it as a time tosucceed and fail in turn, because a few years down the line, women will be torn in allkinds of different directions that will make them behave irrationally and startlocking down guys they wouldn't have even maced a few years back. Prepare forthis. Embrace it. Take what's yours. Be a gentleman about it.
